Speech and language therapists (SLT) work with parents and carers and others to assess if a child has speech and/or language difficulties. If appropriate, the therapist will decide how the child can be helped to reach their full communication potential. This service caters for children and young people with primary speech and language difficulties up to the age of 18 years of age living in the catchment area.
