A Primary Care Team (PCT) is a team of health care professionals responsible for organising and delivering primary health care for the local population. The team is made up of GPs & Practice Nurses, Community Nurses, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist
& a Social Worker. Other services include Dietician, Dental Service, Home Help Service, Speech & Language
& Counselling Psychologist
to support the team in delivering health and social services.
The aim of the team is to provide Primary Care services that are accessible, integrated, of a high quality and which meet the needs of the local population.
Cost: HSE services are free, but you may have to pay for any equipment you require, depending on whether you have a medical card.
